Offices spaces in Covent offer all types of businesses something special, with lots of boutique brands in the market.  Initially a market garden for Westminster Abbey, and then for the British Monarchy, Covent Garden has a history of growing and selling natural produce, reflected in its remaining architecture even if not the nature of commerce there today. The former market buildings on their opulent plaza remain at the heart of this central London area.

Now heavily pedestrianised Covent Garden is a popular place to explore, shop, visit a museum or two, and eat and drink. Covent Garden is also at the heart of London’s famous West End, and is the location of more than a dozen theatres, including the magnificent Royal Opera House, drawing crowds of drama and musical fans every day.

Covent Garden: After Work

Eating:

Marcus Wareing's Tredwells a modern British, a perfect balance between high-design gastropub and fine dining.

Clos Maggiore, beloved for proposals and anniversaries because of the modern twists on French standards and the flower-covered conservatory.

Rock and Sole Plaice has a loyal following with the after-work crowd, and a claim to being one of the oldest fish and chips restaurants in London.

On the Bab specialises in stuffed, steamed buns and Korean meat dishes.

Condesa serves up Mexican tapas and mezcal.

Drinking:

The Harp is popular for good reason, with a small, unpretentious bar that’s always packed on weekday evenings.

Freud Café, despite the name, is more about the cocktails than the coffee — especially after dark, when crowds of people soften the concrete bunker feel of this basement space.

Phoenix Artist Club directly below Phoenix Theatre is the ideal spot to knock back draught beers and decently-priced cocktails, in a casual, members' club environment.

Covent Garden: The Commute

Tube:

Covent Garden is on the Piccadilly Line. Covent Garden's tube station is a very short walk from the Market Building at the end of James Street. During peak times we suggest getting off at Leicester Square (Piccadilly and Northern Line), which is a short walk to Covent Garden.

Rail:

Covent Garden is conveniently located close to two London stations. The nearest being Charing Cross, which is a couple of minutes’ walk away. The other is Waterloo station, which is a twenty-minute walk across the iconic Waterloo Bridge with great views over London.

Bus:

If you're heading for Covent Garden by bus, the RV1 stops at Covent Garden. The 9, 13, 15, 23, 139 and 153 all stop at Trafalgar Square and Aldwych (both a short walk from the Market Building). The No. 24 stops at Leicester Square; Covent Garden is signposted from there.

Getting away:

Covent Garden is just 40 minutes from Heathrow on the Piccadilly Line.
